  1. 0.68 this far in sw lehigh county. I was hoping for a lot more action. .
  2. I got right around 4” for the event total up here, and looking at the weekly precip map it looks like most of the se quadrant of PA got in the 2”-4” range with a few pockets of much higher totals to the west if Philly. Debby dumped a lot of rain from Florida to Maine for sure when you look at those maps! It amazes me how these tropical systems rebalance heat and moisture over huge areas. The weather looks amazing over the next 7 days! .
  3. Not as bad as forecasted at this point. The fun definitely passed to our west in central PA. .
  4. I am 5 minutes away from you and it has rained much of the day without anything on radar. I have received 0.68 from this “invisible” rain today. I sit at almost 1 3/4” for the 2 day event. .
  5. It has a look and feel of being subtropical right now.
  6. I received 1.33” in sw Lehigh county. With the exception of a sliver of area around Rt 22 and the airport itself up who only had 0.60”, much of the Lehigh Valley received 1”-2.5”. The tropical remnants down south look more ragged than I would’ve expected this morning, especially with the center emerging back out over water. We’ll see how it affects us the rest of the week, but definitely a good start. .
  7. I would’ve liked to see a severe storm, but we are currently receiving decent rain in Western Lehigh County at this point. .
  8. Well, another blob of moderate rain got me up to 0.26” for the day. I will take it. Better than nothing. .
  9. It went right through me - 0.06”. [emoji2957] .
  10. It was a pretty good storm and this is definitely one of the more active tstorm periods in a while. Got a decent 0.65 for this round with maybe a small shower to wrap things up.
  11. By chance I drove through the center of the cll and it was vey heavy rain. When I returned home it was just some moderate rain as the storm just skirted me with a grand total of 0.05”. There is a nice more impressive blob north of reading that I hope holds together and builds slightly north as it comes east.
  12. Yeah early am it was heavy rain. I went back to bed and was surprised it amounted to 1 1/4” on my gauge. A pleasant surprise for sure as it looked like a bust last night. Certainly not as widespread as was forecasted as fortunately for us the band basically setup over rt 222 from lancaster to allentown. .
  13. Well, surprisingly I got 1.26” of rain in the early morning (5 mi sw of allentown.) I am over 4” for the month. I feel good with rain heading in this next heatwave. .
  14. I have had 0.00 here near Allentown with just some drizzle and now partly to mostly cloudy skies. Luckily I had almost an inch on wed night. .
  15. If this was a winter weather event I would be awfully worried about a bust based on this radar! .
  16. 0.96” rain last night up here in the LV. 2.74” for the month. .
  17. Ha, likewise! We were almost identical from that line. .
  18. 1.64” from this round in the Macungie area of the LV, which was a nice surprise considering we under performed last weekend.
  19. 0.46 here in Macungie area and will probably top off at around 0.50 - 0.60 based on radar. Rumbles of thunder in the distance but no wind or craziness. Nice soaking rain for the garden. Looks like points south and east will be next. .
  20. 0.51 here in Macungie/Emmaus area for 1.22 for the month. Was hoping for an inch plus but I am happy with anything at this point. .
  21. I was happy to get 0.08” in that round, and that has not happened in weeks. I have a whopping 0.79 for the month.
  22. Glad I am not 10 miles south or I would have been pretty pissed off! It was quick but it was at least something. .
  23. I am utterly shocked how much we got in this region from kutztown to macungie and emmaus. I am upset I slept through it. I got pics from a friend in Bethlehem 20 minutes away - may be 5” there at most and 12”+ here.
  24. Uh, looking outside thru tired eyes and seeing a major snowstorm here just southwest of allentown. Perhaps 10”-12”?!
