Wow, did not expect nearly an inch of rain this evening. A welcome surprise and good fortune in the center of that band of heavy showers heading into very dry weather pattern. -

Awful forecast for the Lehigh Valley. Airport got a few hundredths of an inch. I am southwest corner of the Valley and got more at 0.62” but not close to the Noah’s Ark forecast! . -

Power outage from the storm, but not quite severe. 0.53” thus far with perhaps more back building a bit. -

The only area of the LV that got anything substantial was where that band set up along south mountain into the southern areas of the 3 cities. Most of the Valley looks to have received 1/4” or less - I only got 0.22” in lower macungie. Per radar estimates looks like there was 2“ less than a half mile south of me. It always amazes me how localized storms are in the summertime! . -

Lower Macungie and only had 0.17. I am shocked we have not gotten torrential rains over the last few days in this soup, but the bands have setup elsewhere. I am over 2” for the month but relatively little recently. -

Even across the street at times. It is a fascinating time of the year. The difference between the winners and losers is a lot greater than the other seasons . -

I’ve only received the 0.11” between yesterday and today. I feel like this is a glitch in the matrix considering how high the humidity has been lately!. . -

It is shocking not to see anything here today. Definitely the soupiest day of the summer! There is a line coming through central PA, but I am not sure it survives the trip east. . -

We need more rain like we need an STD. My goodness, it’s been feast or famine over the last several years. -

Thankfully, I got less than a 1/4”, but definitely parts of the Allentown area and points north in the LV got 1-2”. I drove through some of it and it was torrential. . -

It is definitely far worse in Florida! Yeah, today and tomorrow are awful, but every day is suffocating down there in the summer. We just had several days in the 60s this month. Central Florida is definitely worse than the coast where you get some seabreeze, but it is punishing down there in the summer pretty much every day. . -

Thankfully, we got minimal rain out of this today. 8 1/2 inches last month and 3 1/2 inches thus far this month. In contrast to fall and winter, we do not need any rain anytime soon! . -

Got a quick 1/3” at home from that batch, but my actual location during the storm near Costo Allentown must have been at least an inch. It was a torrential downpour and heavy storm. . -
