It’s not great for Annapolis. Areas south and east of 95 are riding a thin line at all times an 1 or 2 more adjustments northwest would mean close to nothing for us
Just pure sleet still here at Wisp but even that is pretty light. Real disappointment as far west as we are and with elevation that we can’t even get the rates for snow. Hopefully tomorrow the lingering upslope snows can at least fall throughout the day even if it doesn’t add up much
Deep Creek- Just starting to go back to like a 50/50 snow sleet combo as the heavier rates move in. Really hoping some heavier stuff can come through and bring back the pure snow
Hope you’re right. The heavier precip appears to be to the southwest right now working this direction. Nothing exciting about a lull during a short storm though
It was ripping here for a while. I think rates let up and turned it back to sleet. Very tiny icy flakes, not full on sleet pellets. Beautiful scene out there though
Top of Wisp seems to be all snow now. Small flake size but coming down moderately. Roads covered and it’s looking like winter out there. Hope the intensity picks up and holds for 5 or 6 hours
Is this the type of storm that will have upslope for the Garrett County area? If so, is the upslope intensity usually modeled pretty accurately, or is it typically more/less intense than what is shown on these models?
What time frame is this through? Can you add through end of day Sunday if not already included? I'm curious as I'll be out at the mountain house. Thanks!
