  1. I just measured exactly 7 inches in Annapolis. That was my first time making it outside today, so there may have been a little compaction as well. Hoping to squeeze another inch out of the first part of the storm and then get another 2 inches tonight to top double digits
  2. Feeling very fortunate my flight to the Dominican Republic is tomorrow so I can enjoy a snow day first
  3. This should be perfect I get to enjoy some fresh snow tomorrow and then fly out to the Dominican Republic Saturday morning for some sunshine/warmth
  4. It’s not great for Annapolis. Areas south and east of 95 are riding a thin line at all times an 1 or 2 more adjustments northwest would mean close to nothing for us
  5. Think we are done here at Deep Creek. The skies are brightening. Dud of an event. We will probably get more snow tomorrow than we did today
  6. Just pure sleet still here at Wisp but even that is pretty light. Real disappointment as far west as we are and with elevation that we can’t even get the rates for snow. Hopefully tomorrow the lingering upslope snows can at least fall throughout the day even if it doesn’t add up much
  7. Anddddd just like that it’s back to mostly sleet. Didn’t anticipate this much issue staying snow out here. Sad
  8. Snow has really picked back up at the top of Wisp. These rates need to stick around to keep the sleet away
  9. Deep Creek- Just starting to go back to like a 50/50 snow sleet combo as the heavier rates move in. Really hoping some heavier stuff can come through and bring back the pure snow
  10. Hope you’re right. The heavier precip appears to be to the southwest right now working this direction. Nothing exciting about a lull during a short storm though
  11. Sleet and freezing rain in full force in deep creek now. Definitely going to bust low on totals at this rate. Need the snow to come back
  12. It was ripping here for a while. I think rates let up and turned it back to sleet. Very tiny icy flakes, not full on sleet pellets. Beautiful scene out there though
  13. This is definitely inch an hour stuff at the top of Wisp
  14. It’s a full blown snow globe at the top of Wisp now. Beautiful outside. Wind blowing everything around as well. Everything covered.
  15. Top of Wisp seems to be all snow now. Small flake size but coming down moderately. Roads covered and it’s looking like winter out there. Hope the intensity picks up and holds for 5 or 6 hours
  16. Majority snow now at the top of wisp. Have a feeling it’ll be a lot of back and forth this morning
  17. A few flakes mixing in here and there but still mostly sleet and freezing rain
  18. All the mesos are trending more toward sleet and freezing rain even at deep creek and i am officially worried now.
  19. I’m at the top of Wisp and it’s sleet/freezing rain right now
  20. The snow has turned right back to a sleet/freezing rain mix. Man do i hope heavier stuff comes in and changes the vibes. Wisp needs it
  21. Just as i said that the snow has taken over as primary P type. Will be interesting to see how the day goes as rates pick up
  22. Precip just started in Deep Creek as mostly sleet at 3,008ft. Some flakes mixed in but would love it if the snow takes over very quickly
  23. Heading out to McHenry tonight. Fingers crossed for a solid event out there.
  24. Is this the type of storm that will have upslope for the Garrett County area? If so, is the upslope intensity usually modeled pretty accurately, or is it typically more/less intense than what is shown on these models?
