  1. I see a lull on LI but then more heavy echoes south of LI rotating nw. Wondering when the snow will taper off significantly, not that I want it to!
  2. At first I thought you were exaggerating but I see what you mean!!
  3. Woo-hoo! Same here. Puking snow as some here say. Praying for that band to stall right on us and not move until Friday.
  4. Ripping nicely now waiting for that 2-3 inch /hour band just southeast about to move in. Skies darkening. Epic stuff.
  5. If we can get 1-2 inch rates going until midnight, that should get us into the 15-20 range
  6. A little frustrating seeing those heavier bands struggle with northwest progression. Hope that changes. Hope to see 1-2 hour rates for the many hours
  7. Definitely! Steady light snow here on the "Cali" side of Dutchess with larger flakes now mixing in. We definitely hope for more accums tonight into tomorrow
  8. Love it when you use weather jargon. The light patchy snow currently had me a bit worried.
  9. Assuming storm is going according to forecasts?
  10. Wondering if 12-15 for POU might be conservative
  11. Yeah I figured, but the afternoon package is usually out by now. With 12-18 forecasted, it's definitely a given
  12. Can anyone please explain why in the name of Olaf hasn't the NWS Albany issues warnings yet for Dutchess and Ulster north???
  13. A good 1-2 feet for our region. Closer to 2 feet in high elevations and under best banding, closer to 1 foot far northern areas and downsloping screw zones. It is one hell of a storm when a screw zone still gets a foot.
  14. Thundersnow usually happens closer to the coast in setups like this, but yeah, I would love to see it. It has been many years.
  15. I am concerned about Downsloping in Poughkeepsie area lowering our numbers significantly
