  1. Albany earlier this morning. Basically went from snow to sleet to slot. Not much rain where I am. Pure paste I had to shovel with the sleet mixed in and compaction.
  2. Yeah—there were some beautiful flakes falling here this morning.
  3. Looks like the GFS and NAM try to bring a quick period of snow now but the other guidance (Canadian/Euro) bring some precip too to parts of SNE.
  4. Ok last post. Not quite the Buffalo band but we did alright here too.
  5. I’m scared I’m going to get exiled posting Albany obs
  6. Someone about 1.5 miles near me reported an estimate of 5.5”. Didn’t know we did estimates around here lol.
  7. Filing same report here. 4.0 just measured here in Albany. Really ripped for a bit. Still holding onto snow but some pingers/rimed flakes were starting to show up.
  8. 4.0 just measured here in Albany. Really ripped for a bit. Still holding onto snow but some pingers/rimed flakes were starting to show up.
  9. What a beast. Good luck out there. I’m actually in Albany a few days. Snowing nicely here.
  10. Congrats, Canada. That’d be quite a high end event for them *if* that verified.
  11. I’m actually up in Albany for a few days. -SN here. Just started.
  12. That’s awesome. So many immigrants came to this area during the war period. My extended family used to fish on the river too. A lot of beautiful landscapes to be found around here with some recent investment in the riverfront and surrounding parks.
  13. Totally believe in that, just selling subzero cold extending that far south. I hope I’m wrong.
  14. Love that area. Kinda curious why the Euro is much more aggressive for the Albany area, but probably best to hedge low there and hope for a surprise with less downsloping west of the Hudson.
  15. It was a peaceful sunrise here with a low of 2° and WC below zero. Take life as it comes, folks. The beauty of life is accessible even in the challenging times.
  16. The Arctic blast failed to get me below zero as I finished with a low of 2.1 this morning, but what a walk along the Connecticut River.
  17. Displacement on our side of the hemisphere?
