  1. That wave near the Antilles is worth watching. It may not look like much now as it’s consumed by SAL, or show up as clearly in the Gulf on model runs, but the environment in the Gulf a few days from now look good for something discrete to gain vorticity and organize some.

  3. Just to Portland. Just over 3 hours. Long day though.
  4. The sky was really nice today. Drove up to Maine and back today. Beautiful day.
  5. I’ve tried that and it doesn’t work. Just started happening to me a few days ago. Paging @dendrite
  6. I can’t get mine to auto populate now. Are you doing anything special to get your tweets to do so?

  8. Good stuff in here the last few days. Still not sure where I’m going to go with my peak forecast but I lean slightly BN.
  9. It won’t but let’s get that little area of vorticity later this week on the GFS to pop over the Gulf Stream and bring us a PRE/Cape landfall
  10. So sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers.
  11. GFS showing robust waves and opportunities for TC genesis inside a week is all I need to see. Increasing signal the the basin rises (somewhat) from the dead in the next week. Big test for the basin.
  12. What a GFS run lol In all seriousness, it does look like we’re going to start seeing signs of life (no, not a basin full of canes) in the next week. Big big test for the season and basin.

  14. Seeing Farmington cease after such a long period of record is truly sad. Those kinds of locations are hard to come by.
  15. Severe aside, some great anvil crawler pics coming in. Love to see it. Even though it ruins the meteor shower
  16. Plenty of opportunities but one has to produce. Still very interesting that the usually bearish euro leads the way in saying the basin comes to life in the next week. Not really sure what to think.
  17. What I love most about NE is the four seasons. I love seasons in seasons. I know spring is dicey in NNE but down here April can be excellent. It’s a little sad losing daylight but fall is probably my favorite season now. Dews or not a sunny day in the mid 80s is summer to me.
