  1. I think your elevation will help there when this becomes marginal. It’s just straight up thump right now.
  2. You probably do ok but I have to imagine we spike back up here in the valley. I didn’t think I’d get close to freezing and I’m at 32.7 now.
  3. Just as things get good here comes the dry slot Seriously though I’m pretty impressed by the temperature drop. Even my area is closing in on freezing. 33.0°/31 now.
  4. Awesome. We appreciate it! I’m sure we’ve used photos and your observations are always helpful. Torrington, right? -DB Snow starting in the lowlands of central CT per a friend.
  5. Just ******* awful. I’m not home but I’m at 36.4° and .35” of rain so far. Assuming it’s still raining there with the HFD obs still showing rain.
  6. Yeah, we toss. Think you and Steve are solidly in the 3-6 zone. I'm 1-3, and the southern folks are praying to tickle an inch or two. This is one time I'd enjoy busting too low statewide.
  7. I kid, but it was actually very helpful when I first started out. People don't realize just how varied CT topography is.
  8. Learned that lesson very early on years ago with Kev ripping my maps and Steve constantly ending up in the jackpot zone lol.
  9. HRRR and GFS at 18z Sunday. Maybe a little better in the preceding hours with better lift but man the lower levels are marginal verbatim.
  10. I need to see that tomorrow to take em up. It all just seems so marginal to me. If we had a colder 925 & surface profile I’d be on board. Euro weird banding has me a little concerned too.
  11. Currently thinking C-2 coastal CT, 1-3 interior southern CT (mostly 2-3), 2-4 low elevation northern CT (mostly 3-4), and 3-6 (mostly 5-6) for Kev land and the NW hills.
  12. I tried to tell you this last year lol I’m just not feeling it down there. Maybe I’m biased based on the disaster earlier this month in southern CT but it’s too many red flags for me.
