Had attempted measurements earlier (have to ask my wife the rest of the day)...but its damn near impossible.
Don't forget to put your booties and mittens on. Don't want you to get put in the time out corner.

Hi :-). It’s coming
Hi Jay. The 12z run of today's Euro at 168 hour is pure eye candy. Now let's make it thru the next 5 days of model run flip flops and hair loss. Nice too see you post.

It should be terrific, happy golden days of yore!
I second that. Just a heads up to folks that have family members traveling on the roads. Watch out for the blowing snow and reduced visibility on the roads tomorrow up this way.

Thankfully it looks like this post will turn out to be a fail.
You could always burry the beer bottles near the snowguns.
Edit: Winter Weather Advisory for us folks in Orange County for Friday, a mixed bag and some ZR from 1pm Friday till 10am Saturday .

Too bad we can't keep that Friday snow too but I just don't see how we pull that off and we really can't complain after what were had been looking at a couple days ago.
Trending a little better with the front making a little more progress. A possibility of an overrunning event a couple of days after that, as of today's 12z runs. Subject to change somewhat.

Down to 12 here. Forecast low is 10. Might go down to the single numbers IMBY.

Took a ride out this morning. Temp. Was 35 in new Windsor with 500' visibility. Along river road in Newburgh about 1/4 mile vis and temp at 37 along the river. Went up into the town of Newburgh along fostertown road, temp was 31 and back to the 500' visibility away from the river. Roads were fine no slick spots.

The whine of the snow gun fans once again fills the air IMBY, such a terrific sound.
I will be taking out the snowblower out of storage and firing it up tomorrow. Yup the sounds of the season.

my wife is good friends with a manager at that animal hospital, was texting back and forth today to see if they needed anything (wife works at a hospital down here). Not sure what the outcome was after the shelter in place but im sure it was a sh*t day all around up there.
After the 2nd explosion is when the sh*t really hit the fan. Most of the workers were out and vails gate and city of Newburgh firefighters were doing an interior search and attack. At that time, everyone was there or were on the way, state firefighters from Stewart, DEC, etc. heard even homeland security, FBI was there.
I had a feeling this would have happened there sooner or later. Just passing the building you could smell the nail polish fumes in the air. A real sweatshop IMO.
edit. They found the body of the missing man inside the building.

They have their hands full.
I was at the animal hospital just down the road from there shortly after the second explosion occurred. Stat flight was landing there in the parking lot to take two of the injured firefighters to the burn center in Valhalla. It was a rapid response by multiple agency's.
my daughter's friend's parents know of the person who is missing. He was working in the area of the explosion in the building.
The smoke was to my north so it was ok here.

Sadly something that she will never forget. I know I think of it each time I pass by the school.
