  1. Yes sir, the rates are pretty excellent right now. In excess of 1"/hr almost certainly and decent flakes.
  2. Starting to stick to our road but that’s more typical at my street approx 900 ft vs the few below me.
  3. Getting it going nicely here moderate snow and things getting coated, radar looks good for the next little bit. Let’s see what happens in the heavy returns moving in
  4. Sterling radar doesn’t have precip overhead of us in precip mode, just state college. I find lwx radar almost always more accurate out our way.
  5. I wish you’d shut your ass about rain. We know what the drought monitor looks like. it’s a snow thread
  6. Maybe so, but almost certain you’d be dumping snow for a while in that depiction.
  7. Radar looks pretty decent. Short range guidance has beefed up my neck of the woods overnight.
  8. They did…assuming they deliver. Can definitely see some outcomes where they don’t beat SMU.
  9. Little interesting the snow hasn’t accumulated better to be honest. I’ve seen us get an inch of snow here with less “falling snow.” It’s been going decently since before 7am with some good periods in there, and only 27. Yet it sticks then melts off sticks a little and rinse/repeat. Ground has been cold and it’s early AM?
  10. Snowing this morning pretty good, road is just about covered. 6th time it’s snowed already this winter. Been good for seeing flakes fly at least even though YTD is 2.5”
  11. Awesome wintry morning, decent rate of snow combined with some periods of blowing makes it feel like a globe. Our road is coated
  12. Several periods of good snow this morning in Carroll Valley.
  13. Snow here this morning, little connection to the LE bands.
  14. Thundersnow in state college just now and dumping! 0 visibility and an absolute whiteout instantly.
  15. I think the reality is with these mega conferences that have formed (namely the SEC, Big 10, ACC being the largest) is that you’re going to have uneven SOS even within conference play. it’s the formula for someone like UGA having the #1 SOS but then Texas other than their h2h didn’t really play the other heavy hitters (and dodges then next year too). we saw similar with Indiana’s schedule in the big 10. Ohio States penalty for losing to Michigan? Still getting a 1st round home game, rest this week not being in the conference champ game, and a locked up playoff spot. im a big proponent of playing either 1 extra conference game or no extra games before the playoff. With these large conferences a championship game creates a lack of congruence for the committee. And there’s always going to be a question for the 3/4 place teams in the power conferences about the CFP. Can one team play themself out of position in a champ game? Id say possibly, while another can’t “play in” not playing.
  16. They definitely did, still are. I was in Ft Richie/Pen Mar at about 5PM and they had 4”+ without being on the highest tops. Cascade down through the ridges near Wolfsville are still getting some good stuff, bet there’s several 6+ out there.
  17. Snowing nicely, still 32 here. Now that it’s dark, with these decent rates it’s adding to the totals. radar says it should continue still for a bit.
  18. Pen mar has to have 5”. I drove to Cascade and ft Ritchie and it was a bonafide snowstorm feel with wind blown SN and 30.
  19. Concur on the crazy differences. Rain, 35 and green grass in Taneytown, emmittsburg, the state line even to the intersection of 16/116. My house is up near 900 feet in the hood and roads are just partially snow covered and grass is covered.
