  1. let the Mountain peeps have their snow. Not really worth it for the wind. only like to see them shafted when I'm capitalizing on it, in the snow dept
  2. Right about average this year. probably wasted about 8-10" of potential accumulations due to marginal temps. definitely more noticeable on the Cape vs my last locale
  3. grass coated, puddles in the streets. wouldn't say it looks great here
  4. It's been snowing steadily with big flakes, but zero accumulattion so far. edit: actually starting to on grass. flakes are large
  5. tough to think this trends any further east than the current Euro..given other guidance
  6. I feel like when you jack due to elevation dependency..it's usually the storms like Wednesday, where you see a spot 4" or 5" vs 1"-3" in the low lands. Never in the bigger storms
  7. Yeah its like they magically purchased and swapped in those barrells to the tanks overnight. Aholes
  8. Thanks - that would solidify my average season, or maybe a tick above if it overperforms
  9. my dad is in his upper 70s and had the same thing happen to him. he said he had a couple babe Ruth's and Micky mantles
  10. I wish I remembered this one as a 3 year old: "L.A. TIMES ARCHIVES FEB. 10, 1987 12 AM PT FROM UNITED PRESS INTERNATIONAL A blustery storm that battered the Northeast and buried Cape Cod under 2 feet of snow and drifts 10 feet high swept farther off the Eastern Seaboard today as the National Guard moved in to aid in the cleanup effort." This quote would trigger a young PF or PhineasC 'I should open a ski resort down here,' said Jeff Grant, 25, owner of Spinnaker Records in Hyannis.
  11. I'm pretty sick of this pattern we are in. Give me warmth or give me snow, and not this purgartorial bs
  12. Yes. fun stuff with a 2 week old infant and no power. plus a tree crashing into my house, missing me by about 5 ft. to be honest, I can't remember so many damaging tree storms in a relatively short period of time. starting with Feb 13'. Throw in this storm, plus Oct 2021
  13. If you can shift that entire pattern 500 miles east, could be interesting.
