There's two camps..the bend inward camp and the whiff. I don't think it will end up being an average of them, or near miss. It's either a hit or an easy miss. A little too early to get excited, but it has my interest piqued at least.

Most companies are likely doing it for the CYA thing. The root problem was the CDC, which sent everyone in a tizzy.

Do these people get the flu shot? And is their only hesitance that it's mNRA technology, which so far has proven to be safe, for the majority, in the near term, and inconclusive at worst in the longer term (since we have no data). Just trying to get an understanding on why, especially when potentially dealing with elderly or immune compromised folks, why they would risk the chance of subjecting those people to a higher viral load if not necessary? Just trying to learn the reasoning here

I think people need to accept they aren't bulletproof. But still, they increase the odds of a mild case..and I've read the viral load does not last as long vs someone who is unvaccinated. So although transmissible while vaccinated, it's probably less likely.

My Comcast bundle is about $168, but only because I got a promo deal with the new residence. After that..i'm sure it will balloon up and I will threaten to cancel it. Hopefully there will be some competition by then.

Saw this misleading article on CNN about pediatric hospitals at capacity in Lousiana, I believe. Most of the admitted patients suffered from RSV, but they don't really explicitly say that until the very end of the article. They want the reader to believe it's mainly COVID related.

CNN and FOX were on at the gym today. CNN went straight COVID scare porn for an hour straight. FOX mixed it up a bit more with other stuff, but still about 20 min of COVID talk. I don't know who watches this stuff on a daily basis..but I can see how some people will get riled up by this non-stop mongering.

If you have a kn95 or better, sure. That may provide some protection if you happened to come across someone who has it.

What does this mean? Vermont and MA both have Republican governors. And I thought Texas was a purple state now. It's not entirely a red/blue issue
