    Hey, your rant is fine. Helps me realize I am not alone. Hah So Bville is just an awful location for snow, or has it just been a rough few years with crap patterns? Did the dusting survive?

    Checking out webcams and radar, it is YET AGAIN snowing nicely just to the south of Syracuse. Ithaca to Cortland to Binghamton are getting their grounds covered, while Syracuse gets avoided. I just don't get it.

    It's unreal how snow has danced around the Cuse these winters. Looks like you might be able to get in on some LES this weekend.

    Based on current conditions, many in the Mid-Atlantic and PA are currently getting heavy snow showers with ground getting covered. A whiter Christmas far to the south compared to Upstate NY. Lol

    HRRR is showing some nice snows for Onondaga this weekend but is the ONLY one showing it.

    Looks like Syracuse has some snow falling right now. Semi-White Christmas? Models show winter trolling the Cuse for the next week. Snowfall abyss.

    Bahahaha I was able to make two snowballs about the size of my thumbnail and throw them at my teenage nephew and niece...they were like, Ummmm, ok. Teens are just too cool for that. Lol

    Heaviest rain bands moving right over my house in NW Onondaga. If it was snow....it would be 20 miles SE.

    Haha...I saw that. This Pacific wave train needs to end. Cold...then as soon as Low moves in, temps pop up into the 40s with rainers. Then, it's back to dry cold with no lake effect. The 18Z runs are hilarious in showing virtually no snow for the Cuse through at least Saturday. What's it going to take indice-wise to get some real snow?!?!

    Same!!!! I moved away from Lancaster, PA YEARS ago to get away from the bloody rain/snow line mix CRAP with every system.... isn't much better here!!!!!

    Looks like the only hope for CNY on getting a "White" Christmas is some random wrap-around snow showers (that mostly look to go south of Syracuse along the Southern tier...lol). This cold season has by far been worse than last year's so far.

    Lol...true that. Please don't dump my body in the middle of the Gulf of Alaska... although it might be the only way to break up a Polar Vortex..... 63 degrees down here in Tennessee today. It actually felt a bit chilly with the stiff wind. Obviously I chuckled with seeing some people bundled up in full winter gear...while some wear shorts pretty much all the time.
