    BTV valley seems attractive to me as a retirement destination. Lots of culture, places to eat, bad snow retention/climo (good when you're old), but massive amounts of snow are only a short drive away with the best skiing in the NE. Then in the spring you miss all the mank and days of misery mist, then in the summer you torch which is great for spending days out on Champlain on your manitou pontoon.

    Did I miss something? I know there was some drama....but deleting it is extreme and unnecessary and now I have one less thread to distract myself from the things I should be doing instead lol.

    Went to whalom lake today in lunenburg.....few small largie bass. What's weird is there was rock bass too.... haven't really caught those little porkers outside of VT

    nice phattie! I caught a perch the other day....and that's it. But I did see 2 bald eagles!

    oh, so you're basically jigging then? I'd be mostly shore fishing small rivers - Nashua, Phillips Brook, Falulah Brook..... If i get out in my boat though I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

    What have you been using to catch trout? Looks like the state stocked tons of brookies around my area within the last week or so and I want to get out on Saturday. I recently picked up one of those "trout magnet" kits and caught a rainbow, only been a few times though.

    Saturday night, but it was a bust. I went out after midnight to try and see it....nothing. Plus moon was super bright.
