    I could see snow day for elementary school kids....but high school? The only playing in snow that high school kids do is smoking dope and blowing donuts in empty parking lots. Maybe farting around on their old Indy if they're lucky enough to have one.

    Yeah.....dunno if I believe that. We'll be more like the IBM shows. Especially if the firehose sets up like @ORH_wxman says and slams into the towering pinnacles we call the N ORH Hills.

    Well hey....I'm just saying. If someone has a lot of groundwater bleeding out in his/her yard, it could lead to the first few inches melting on contact. 8" instead of 12" - boom.

    Well there's still a lot of groundwater in the soil, so I could see it having an impact by keeping the top soil warmer than usual. It's not like we have a foot of frost yet.
