The East flow will be less of a problem for the Connecticut River Valley than if this was a slow moving coastal. Most of the snow out this way will come from the initial thump. -
The constant weenie overanalyzing is amusing but I understand for certain areas. This had basically been a 6” storm for Greenfield since Monday.

There are so many factors but part of it is just bad brakes too. Who knows, any year you could move into us know what your cycle for your location. I don’t know as much about Connecticut and Rhode Island but from Massachusetts through NNE, I bet I could named 30 different towns that are supposed snow holes. Your house is not an anomaly.

I would be shocked if Springfield got less than 6” of snow. I’m expecting about 8” here in the upper valley.

Yeah, I’m skeptical Keene only gets 2.7”

If the interior coastal plane can pull a foot of 10:1 snows out of the sunday system the 3" of rain midweek, that the GFS has, might create some hydro issues.
