    You know, I was going to bring this up yesterday but I wasn’t sure if I was just speculating. It seems to me some of our best heat stretches in Western Massachusetts have been in May and June past 10 years.

    Yes, he is on the fringes but definitely within the boundaries of the ocean cooling effect this time of year. Late May is often when the CRV can be cooking and folks in Boston are in long sleeves and pants.

    Of course. We’ll see what plays out. 95 would be anomalous but a few days of 90-91 wouldn’t be out of the ordinary 3rd week of June. That’s all I was inferring with my sarcasm.

    I can see escaping with only occasional days over 90 but lots of mid to upper 80’s.

    We will get a few 90's days mid-month but I'm thinking moderate heat with a lot of mid-80's. I'm thinking precipitation may become an issue for SNE with mid-summer heat and little rain. I'll take hot and dry tho'... just need to water the veggie garden more.

    Starting to get a little desert like here. Lawns are crisping up a bit and unwatered perennials are losing flowers quickly. I was driving around the valley earlier today and at first I thought it was hazy but it was all the dust coming up, from farmers running tractors and plows.

    Managed to hold off so far but will need to install if the June heat dome looks real. To be clear, I have used the air conditioning in the car of course. House is pretty easy to keep cool with fan management except for the late afternoon.

    It's 62/54 in Greenfield right now so that is actually ideal to me at 11pm in early June.

    We are thinking about it because in MA the rebates and tax incentives are nuts. Because I've only had part-time work since 2021 we qualify for over 10k in incentives.

    Radar looks like a Worcester county deluge. Been about two hours of moderate rain here which was much more than expected.
