  1. Were they referring to Kevin‘s head?
  2. Yeah, I'm not sure anyone in SNE breaks records. Maybe CNE or NNE? I don't love high heat but I understand the "might as well break a record". I would be right there rooting for records but Greenfield has a big music festival in town this weekend that we are involved in. Any moderation would be welcome. At the end of the day I've survived mid 90's in the past and will do so again this week.
  3. I thought the operational GFS dialed temps back a bit too.
  4. I can already see this week being brutally hot but falling just short of records. It's what we like to do in SNE.
  5. Ya', looks like a brief mild down next week then we re-stoke the furnace. Maybe a bit of shift in the ridge at the end of the month tho'...?
  6. It looks pretty dry for eastern areas even beyond next weekend. Convection rains will probably help WNE.
  7. I’ll install tonight when we get back from The Cape. It’s two window units and a portable, it really only takes me about 20 minutes. Lol. Every year I just wait until there is an extended period of upper 80s or 90s in the forecast.
  8. Your area also looks Steined over the next 10 days.
  9. Easier for weenies in tropical SNE to chase snow next winter.
  10. I’ll be impressed if Worcester can pull off triple digits. I’m guessing it will be more like 96-97 type deal.
  11. 68° with a breeze in Falmouth right now, not quite a beach day yet.
  12. After the big heat this week looks like a relaxation and then maybe a furnace reload at the end of the month?
  13. Don’t you worry, I will go samurai man bun!
  14. 68° on the water in Falmouth.
  15. Wow, I’ve never even heard of that park.
  16. It was mostly sunny and in the 70s in Greenfield today.
  17. You know, I was going to bring this up yesterday but I wasn’t sure if I was just speculating. It seems to me some of our best heat stretches in Western Massachusetts have been in May and June past 10 years.
  18. Yes, he is on the fringes but definitely within the boundaries of the ocean cooling effect this time of year. Late May is often when the CRV can be cooking and folks in Boston are in long sleeves and pants.
  19. Of course. We’ll see what plays out. 95 would be anomalous but a few days of 90-91 wouldn’t be out of the ordinary 3rd week of June. That’s all I was inferring with my sarcasm.
  20. Shocking. It’s going to be hot around the Solstice, who would’ve guessed?
  21. I can see escaping with only occasional days over 90 but lots of mid to upper 80’s.
  22. Sun popping out here. Hopefully we can warm s bit this afternoon.
