  1. Nice flash freeze here tonight. I luckily saw the frozen beads of water, on the grill, just before I let the dogs tow me onto the semi-frictionless driveway.
  2. It is going to warm up a bit next week, it is going to rain in a lot of New England. It is November for the love of God, deal with it! First half of December looks like it could be fun and yes we probably relax a bit after that before reload. We all tease about Grinch storms etc but I think mid to late December 3 day thaws with a cutter are generally the rule not the exception. Part of our normal climo perhaps?
  3. It was kept on the down low but Greenfield essentially had a town and police sanctioned weed farmers market, once a week at the fairgrounds during September and October.
  4. 34° with a steady rain when I left Northampton.
  5. I will post a pic in the batter thread later but the Northampton line had to be 200 people long. Every license plate I saw was either Connecticut or New York. Lolz
  6. I will be driving by the Northampton shop in about 20 minutes, can't wait to see the line. I guarantee it will all be out of state plates since if you actually live around here pot is basically free.
  7. Yet, I am in Brattleboro Vermont and it is raining. Boooo
  8. If I could go back to the elevation of discussion for a minute I had an interesting observation. It is raining at my house at 400' , mostly snow right up the road from me at 650" but the real snow line started at approximately 950" on the topo map I'm looking at. More evidence that you need to hit that magic thousand foot line around here to have better chances of snow than rain. That being said, it is pretty maddening that I am going to take the dogs for a walk and will be able to walk from my house and in 15 minutes be where it is snowing! (650') I need to move lol.
  9. Just drove up to 1200' in Leyden, maybe a half inch or so of sloppy new, kind of disappointing considering how areas S and E of here did better.
  10. Wow, that's surprising, we're all rain 30mi NW of you.
  11. It's real light precip right now.
  12. Oh' ok, that neighborhood is 600'+ elevation I think.
  13. Are you up on Fox Hill? It's 50/50 here but I am on the N edge of town. After all the elevation discussion in the other thread today, this is actually one of those instances of how a few hundred feet can sometimes make a difference.
  14. I really hope nobody S of Dendrite was planning on that given the tenuous nature of this system and November climo... I will be thrilled to have gotten three accumulating events in the 3rd week of November. #all gravy this early
  15. You should wake up to some accumulating snow.
  16. I'm actually surprised to even see snow mixing in here already. Radar extrapolation would suggest maybe that steadier, heavier stuff out near Binghampton moves through here later?
  17. 34/32 50/50 -SN/RA mix here and I'm only at about 400' el.
  18. If you strain your eyes you can make out a single blue pixel over the highest elevation in Methuen.
  19. easy to see where the elevations are...
  20. Shut em’ down up in ski country.
  21. Pit 1 got it's share of qpf July-October.
