    Rough night around town for inflatable Christmas characters. Lots of wind casualties. Nice to have flurries in the air though.

    Just incredible volumes of water moving through the Connecticut River at Turners Falls. Hopefully I can get back there before dark to video it.

    It's looking better in the long range but wow, most of SNE could be looking at mother nature pitching a full December shut out. Not quite a no-hitter but not many base runners. Can you imagine the mood on here if we had not gotten that early November snow?

    It happens so frequently that I question why anybody even risks a family ski trip for this week ? Yeah, I know scheduling is tight with a family but better skiing is almost guaranteed for February break or pull the kids out of school two days and do a nice long weekend later in the winter.

    Sure but we still had wind advisory up and literally had no wind. MPM at 1000'+ barely had a breeze.

    I think grinch storms are just part of our climo. January thaw's have always been a thing right?

    Based on the number of grinch storms the past 10 years why would anyone book a Christmas ski trip?
