  1. The way the precipitation just evaporated on that 12z run seemed a bit odd.
  2. Trees and branches down all over Greenfield. Only isolated outages though.
  3. About .25" new. Some good gusts but nothing extreme.
  4. Few good gusts here but relatively calm again. Be interesting to see what tomorrow brings.
  5. Weenies gonna' weenie, part of the flavor of the forum.
  6. CMC has been terrible this winter but yeah, picking up on the meat grinder flow.
  7. Good trends today, solid advisory event across most of SNE. It leaves our friends to the North wanting more but there are some anxious and (maybe) deserving weenies in SNE. It still looks like full winter here so I would love a 4" refresher. MAybe even JP out this way under friendly fronto band now that MPM has gone East.
  8. Our house is surrounded by towering white pines but luckily there is a sizable hill about a 1/4mi behind the house that blocks strong winds from the NW, SW and W.
  9. The Ct River Valley is where wind goes to die.
  10. He posted in the sports forum so he is around.
  11. I'll take nickels and dimes right up to April 15.
  12. I have a bruise the size of a pancake on my thigh from sledding last weekend.
  13. The puppet masters know all, Kraft was set up like a bowling pin and there will certainly be another shoe dropping. #tipoftheiceberg
  14. I think the April/May coastal might be a thing, just a thing none of us necessarily want but some may still appreciate.
  15. When I saw the 2m temperature anomaly maps you were the first person I thought of because I know how much you love late winter dry and Arctic.
  16. It was always cold rain for you, just a difference between 34° rain and 38° rain.
  17. I think Ray probably loses the bet but I would not count out 2 warning events between now and ides. Maybe even 2 SECS.
  18. Although this winter has been mediocre at best I have sure spent a lot of caloric energy moving snow from the systems we have had. I certainly don't recall of the paltry 80s having so many events that ended with glaze. If it wasn't a vacation week I'm sure today would have been another two hour school delay.
  19. I average a bit under 60 here there is no way Amherst is only 39.
  20. I am sitting at a conservatively measured 34" since I often don't record anything less than 1". As Tip said earlier it wouldn't take that much to get to normal. A 12"+ and a few advisory events could do it which is not unreasonable considering there is a solid month of winter weather left. I guess where we stand right now based on how much snow I've had and how much snow cover and winter activity I've been able to engage in I can't really give this season less than a C. Not that that has anything to be really excited about.
  21. Have not looked at the cold source set up for that one but yesterday/today certainly overperformed with the cold.
