  1. On the bright side, the drought has made ticks almost nonexistent around here. I have not seen one in weeks and we were inundated during spring.
  2. This is the Cold River in Charlemont. Normally you cannot even see any of these rocks.

  5. It’s really bad here but droughts don’t last for months in New England so should balance out soon.
  6. The Earth rotates at 1000mph, yet we only notice by where the sun, moon and stars are in the sky.

  8. Yes, experiment with melatonin, Valerian extract and CBD oil to find which one helps the most with sleep. I find all of them helpful.

  14. Ya, turned the AC off around 7pm last night and opened all the windows. Low of 60F.
  15. Real dry here, which has been kind of nice but a bit worrisome for local farms.

  19. What town is that in? I have only swam in rivers up there.
  20. My neighbor that had the house fire last year isn't quite ready to move back in and told me we should use the pool when she is not there. I just went over and skimmed it and took a dip with a water temperature of 78F. Evening swims are delightful.

  22. Same here, the edge of the rain came within a few miles of Greenfield and then just fell apart.
