  1. 11-26/27-14, out this way, was a great, early season event.
  2. WTF is happening to this thread? #normal summer Gee, it's going to be hot for a few days in July. Wow, so anomalous. I've had A/C on for less than 48 hours this week. Tonight, fans in windows and I'm comfy, if not a bit chilly in shorts and tank top. #what is not to like?
  3. Yeah, no interest in a Summer 2018, that was the first time since we moved here in 2008 that we ever had mildew and mold.
  4. Yeah, at least the garden got moistened. I won't complain too much because less moisture to evaporate into the air over the weekend torch and I can always get the hoses out for the plants. Anyway, it beats last summer's mildew fest.
  5. You and I, although 80+ miles apart, just stepping in sync summer and winter with precipitation. Desperately need rain here but also will take drought over repeat of last summer. Lets hope we finally make up for qpf in the winter for once!
  6. Yeah, my yard has been bone dry for 2 weeks and I got just about .20" in the stratus when I was hoping for 1-2". Hardly any thunder or wind either. I bet tomorrow is basically dry.
  7. Damn, dry ground in Greenfield! I have no idea how that line missed us.
  8. Yeah I saw that coming up 91 towards Greenfield but nowhere to stop for a picture. some very droopy dark clouds though.
  9. That line that moved through here it looked better on the radar than it actually was. About 10 minutes of heavy rain but very little thunder or lightning .
  10. Looks like S VT Will be getting deluged soon.
  11. We have a similar set up at home that is 620 ft.² and do it with a 14,000 BTU portable with another 6000 BTU window unit in the dining room. Those +2 fans and the ceiling fan usually make even the worst HHH days quite bearable.
  12. Hmmmm, Think I'll throw the family in the car Friday and head for Falmouth but not sure we are going to get too much relief there either.
  13. A lot of cloud contamination here this afternoon. 78F
  14. Yeah, in my line of work I'm sure I would be in the thousands. I have saved a few hundred individual cans with, the qualification being, I needed to like the artwork and the liquid for it to be a keeper. They adorn the steal beams of my basement and will go into the man cave when I build it.
  15. I've never seen/felt one before. I bet we cap out in the low 70's at the major stations.
  16. Perfectly comfy summer past few weeks with the expected brief forays into hot and humid.
  17. Wow, unlike last year, NW MA is being missed left and right by the rains this summer. Less than .25" the past 10 days.
  18. High heat don't mean a thing, if it ain't got that humidity swing. High and dry we don't cry. Vegetation could use a drink but we have hoses and water bills to deal with that.
  19. Perfect summer week so far, I really am not sure where the heat hype has any actual roots. 70/60. Perfect.
  20. Certainly nothing out of the ordinary so far.
