  1. Plus it's November and there is climo...
  2. At this point just look for any consistent trends in models pulling the trough W and placement of N & S stream energy. Too far out for much else. The only given right now is that cold air is available but timing and flow can be a bitch.
  3. Could also go HV runner and warm sector all of SNE.
  4. Enjoy the crisp, dry pond skating next week, maybe some flurries to polish the black ice?
  5. or the trough drifts west over the next few runs and we go cold->cutter->cold.
  6. Yes! Up in the hill towns. I didn’t walk too far out mind you. LOL
  7. I’m 50 years old and can only remember walking on pond ice a handful of times before mid-December in SNE.
  8. It’s certainly not a bad thing to have a mix of model solutions as far as track goes. At least they are all showing a system in the east next week.
  9. Just wait until next week when you get 4 inches of pure arctic powder while the interior is flurries.
  10. Lol, you are going to get crushed with snow and cold this winter. Enjoy!
  11. Pending tonight’s 0z runs it’s time to move on for all but a few posters here. ”Like a steam locomotive, rolling down the track, she’s gone, gone and nothings gonna bring her back, yeah she’s gone.”
  12. Pope ftw? Weren't some models showing this in the LR but lost it in the MR only to bring it back to this outcome?
  13. I love snow but I am probably in the small minority of people here who also likes deep cold and dry.
  14. The Canadian has given me many record snowfall winters!
  15. I'll get some done today but yeah, I would rather wait until late Nov for first accumulation.
  16. Just praying NW MA doesn’t get 2 to 3 inches of sleet that then freezes the next day. I would gladly take soaking warm rain over that scenario.
  17. It’s not too often in early season storms that lat/long are as much of a factor as elevation but I’m taking tomorrow off for some yard clean-up.
  18. Yeah, same in Greenfield. We became the supply zone for all the unfortunates in the hill towns who were without power for days. Soeaking if which, my friends in SW VT (Dover and Wilmington) still don’t have power from the Halloween winds and rains.
  19. There has certainly been more than a few years where the mid-Atlantic has gotten snow before SNE.
  20. Yup! Even better now that you can cross the road and go to the W. County Cider tap room.
