  1. Cloud debris days have effectively kept us from having a heat wave yet this summer out this way. That doesn’t mean it hasn’t been hot though.
  2. 78/72. Gross! At least the clouds are keeping the temperatures down.
  3. T-storm moving through S VT just clipped us. Quick .10” 75/70 overnight low of 71F Ovet 5” now for July, the crabgrass has never looked better.
  4. 82F in Greenfield. Only managed 88F yesterday so my heat wave will need to start today.
  5. Still only 85F here, decent breeze tho’ House was up to 78F so A/C cranking now.
  6. 82/65. Heat distribution this summer has been odd. The Pioneer Valley can often do hot with the best of them, but this year there have been a lot of areas north, south and east of here that have had much more impressive temperatures. Maybe @ORH_wxman or one of the other mets has a good explanation?
  7. Lots of cloud debris here earlier. We should be off to the races soon.
  8. Just got back from Falmouth a little while ago and it looks like peaked at 86F imby today.
  9. Rapid arctic fresh water melt sublimating the warm water conveyor?
  10. All fantastic breweries and I mean that as somebody who is intimately involved in a brewery and craft beer. Jacks Abby makes some of the best lagers in the United States.
  11. Yeah, because we worked hard! It’s a little disconcerting knowing that tens of thousands of college students are coming back in a few weeks. My county is close to 0% ir right now but we have 5 colleges 20mi S of us.
  12. No thanks. That would be beyond catastrophic for the Connecticut River Valley. The infrastructure is probably 20x bigger now, as is the population.
  13. Basically a private island owned by the Forbes family. What I wouldn’t give to be able to wander around out there for a few days. If you look at the water you can see how the current rips through Robinson Hole from Vineyard sound to Buzzards Bay.
  14. Nice day out in Buzzards Bay. Did a coastal tour of the Elizabeth Islands. Photos are Tarpaulin light (1891) on Naushon and free range cows we saw coming through Robinson Hole at Naushon point. What a gorgeous island!
  15. My friend in Brattleboro just texted me and said that they have had over 2 inches of rain in the past 48 hours!
  16. Fantastic evening in Falmouth! Southwest breeze off Buzzards Bay low humidity, water temperature 75°
  17. I’ve had over 4” of rain in July and he is only 20mi to my south but the showers have been isolated at times.
  18. Killer day in Falmouth, hopefully T-storms in Greenfield we’re tame and no trees fell on my house.
  19. Hopefully the wolf is no match for New England intellect and vigilance! “their walls are built of cannonballs, their motto is don’t tread on me” I wish everything from New York City north could just join eastern Canada as a separate country. LOL j/k of course but I am proud of how the tri-state region and NE has responded.
  20. Good line-up! I was only 16 and couldn't go for some reason but I had friends that did. Can't remember if any got burned. 74/62 right now, nice evening. Hopefully last night of A/C this week.
  21. It’s been a weird day watching the temperatures bouncing around. I was low to mid 80’s much of the day but would occasionally get bounced into the low 90’s. 74/68 now.
