In all seriousness, I think you are spending too much time looking at weather and obsessing over it. Instead of ebb and flow as eps looks good one run and not so good the next... just don’t look for a few days. Get your head clear
Well, it is his job...

Got down to 10F this morning. I wonder if I go the entire winter without getting to or below zero?

Gunna meh your way to another half footer. Congrats
His 10 year snow average is almost certainly greater than any other poster in SNE.

Easy yes. But boring with few surprises. It’s not like someone is going to get a surprise 12”. They are nice and all, but rather humdrum. We take. We pad.
For those of us in WNE they are much more reliable events than most coastal storms which can sometimes give you (Worcester Co.) double what we get 30-50 miles W of you.

By the way, I have no complaints on how winter has gone out in Greenfield. Snowy with some expected lulls. We gradient.

People generally obsess over the warnings vs advisory thing when it doesn't matter that much on a marginal forecast like this one....the difference between 5.5" and 6.5" can be covered by a million different uncertainties: ratios, banding, model qpf error, low level enhancement, etc.
The difference between 5.5”-6.5” Is meaningless to the general public and makes little difference to severity of impact on driving conditions and shoveling.

It’s coming. Time to regress.
Just stare at your avatar and click your heels together and everything will be OK!

Yet everybody was in a panic three days ago when the energy was not even on the continent or sampled. Living model run to model Run is not good for mental health.

Nah, 3-4” from okx is fine and 4-6” from bos is like the high end of a possible range. Nothing too crazy. we’ll see.
At least just about everybody in SNE gets something out of this. Mood elevator.

Those are good maps by nws.
BOX has had decent snow calls for my area this year so I'd be happy with the low end of that.

Maybe it begins to manifest at the end of this winter....March?
No, you want it in April and May to push the Eastern weenies over the edge with a cool damp Spring after a lame winter.

I'm wondering if there will be any accumulating snow here, NWS has a rain/snow mix and a low of 33F. Currently clear skies here and 27F.
Clouding over and 27 also. Venus was like a beacon earlier tonight, super bright and shiny.

Man I would just like one clipper to track right and intensify right on time for a major blizzard for Cape Cod. Just a system that busts positively.
Clippers for the most part have not delivered wintry goods to NE for many, many years.

And we will continue with the colder trend.
You came to the thread late but have been all over this wrt to how the dynamics could make this a more impactful system and I agree.
