Yup, is it being too generous with cold press out of Ontario? This may still end up close to the coast and many in SNE will be relying on a wound up solution with cooling dynamics to bring snow to the starved.   Just speculating based on seasonal trends.

So, where ya staying? I have a great rental company I can recommend;)

Ha, old friend in Bartlett NH.  5 minutes to Attitash, 10 to Cranmore and 25 to Wildcat.  We try to get up there a few times a year.  Ideally twice winter,  once summer but sometimes it's only one and one or two winter.   I love that area!  We will surley get up to Crawford Notch that week so I'll PM you and Alex.

It was a partial on that run, And a partial one would serve most here quite well actually, An early complete phase would be death to the coast and probably some on the coastal plain.

    Ya’ but...

j/k I want a region wide event, especially for S Coast peeps!  BM track with big precipitation field to go 6-12” W to E.

Once we get inside D4, hugger solutions are going to induce nail biting for many but up and in, has been the seasonal theme.

Yep, it's pretty pathetic! There's probably more if you went into the woods and took cores, but I go by my stake and either way, it's not great. 80" of snow to date, and 6" on the ground on January 27th.  Our torches have been brutal!

I'll be up there for that 3rd week of February and really hoping your area can cash in on some good snows before then.  We were scheduled to be there last week but we pushed back our trip hoping mid to late February would have more snow!

Nearest Home Depot is 30 miles away, not practical for hauling a half ton of firewood a couple hundred yards, or other similar short-haul trips.  Since 1994 I've driven 2 Rangers separated by a Ranger clone (Mazda) and put about 375k total on the 3 vehicles.  All 3 have been 2WD and mileage runs 28+ in summer, 23-25 in winter.  Unfortunately the reborn Ranger is about 1,000 lb heavier and gets 30% poorer mileage.  Had a hard time finding a mid-range miles Ranger closer than PA 5 years ago - not sure what I'll choose when this one is done.

We have two smaller Subarus right now and I often miss having a bigger vehicle.

I had a Dodge Caravan that I liked because you could take the bench seats out for bigger loads.

We will probably get an SUV again in a year or so.

I just want one big bad OES event in my lifetime.  Like the one's that hit the Tug Hill Plateau, but I know the likelihood is very low given that the low-level convergence doesn't exist like it does in Buffalo, NY.

I’m not sure I can even name a major New England OES event.   I’m sure Will or Ginx or Ocean St might know of one.

I find that a weird way to live. The media are there to report on goings on. So if there were no media the information would never reach the vast majority of people. Saying agenda is media driven is a talking point to discredit what the media are reporting on. But you do you.

I’m not getting involved in the climate argument,  I’m just here to say that media is first and foremost an entertainment business that relies on ratings including the news outlets.

Up to 0.94” now.   That’s 0.07” in 8 minutes.   Nice rates.  Snow growth is lousy though. Lol

Watching radar earlier E Franklin Co and W ORH Co were definitely getting some heavy radar returns.
