I was not too impressed with snow totals at the Maine and New Hampshire ski areas. Vermont was the winner by a wide margin.

Really looking forward to all of this water logged slush to freeze tonight.

Pouring sleet with the sun out. That’s a first.
It’s a little bit odd it’s almost moderate rain here but the cloud deck is really bright.

Never got below 34° here last night. Sheet drizzle now, lovely.

32.5F here with light rain. I bet we don't budge here for the next 8 hours. Cold drain will be more robust NE of here.

Still can’t break 50” here. Just need a tenth. Lol
lol, you are ahead of most of the NNE posters wrt snow totals, nobody has sympathy that the hills of N ORH Co. can't crack 50" by the first week of February.

Awesome, 34° with steady light rain!
I might be hallucinating but I swear there are sleet pellets mixed in.
Sort of rooting against the cold tuck at this point because I would rather not have this mess freeze overnight.

Yup. I'm fine wine with that, it was nice to look at. I'm not sure how many more slop storms I can take. I was clearing the snow blower chute every 5 minutes but I didn't dare not clear.

So much for PF being “a lock” for 12”+
Could still happen tho’

The meso models didn't exactly move in the right direction to get those bigger snow totals in NNE. I wonder if GYX dials back their maps a bit this afternoon?

Yup. The black hole Greenland nuke is the pattern changer. Just in time for cool and damp Mar-May.
We have joked about that for weeks knowing that it could become a reality. Just be glad you live inland, because you might salvage some nice Spring days while people in the CP drain the pharmacies of anti-depressants.

Ours uses the DPW and doesn’t really use a forecasting service. The DPW does though. Not sure who they use though.

Who provides these schools with the forecasts..DIT?
Around here delays were warranted due to road conditions but the cancellations are baffling. Oh' well, I'll stay home with the kid and get some housework done.

Unfortunately most schools in Franklin Co are closed. Roads are a mess but probably could have gotten away with a 2 hour delay.
