Moderate snow 32/31.
Yup, I've already calculated the 2 hour school delay into my work schedule, starting to worry about a full cancel if you are still snowing right now.

Baking powder right now. Probably 8:1 type stuff. Whatever transpires tonight will probably be a good workout to clean up.

Snowing fairly heavily here, but not sticking yet. 33F Heaviest snow I've seen since December.
Thought it was supposed to start as sleet?
Nah' since last night it's looked liked snow to start from Hartford North.

Wow, snowing pretty good now. 31/26 SN Hopefully rip for a few hours.
Earlier Tip alluded to the E - W elongation of the best lift helping to overcome the putridness of the antecedent airmass but only over a somewhat narrow geographic latitude. My guess is right along the MA/VT/NH border favoring the N parts.

Driveway coated so we are on the favorable side of 32F as my thermo reads 32/26

I’m on the fence between Okemo and Mt Snow for the weekend. Looks like Mt Snow will likely get more from this storm, but how much worse are the crowds, especially for Presidents Day weekend?
Go to Okemo. Bigger Mountain (more vertical) and more tolerable crowds than Mt Snow. Plus from your location Okemo is possibly a shorter ride.

34/26 here. I just need it to come down hard for a few hours and hopefully grab 3" or so before pingy-ping to drizzle.

First weekend at Sugarloaf. Absolutely in love. Everyone there is super nice and for the most part excellent skiers. Extremely cold Sunday but no wind. Excellent conditions. Felt like I was chasing the snow up but heard Sunday River had more. Took me 7 hours to get there from Boston on Friday with one stop to pick someone up in Portland.
It’s my favorite! Spent a lot of great times at that mountain and hope to get back there soon.

I need to move to Truckee, CA.....or anywhere up there....miss that place and no chance of zero pack in February....although the occasional Pineapple Express thing will put down Some serious rain up there to the point of disaster as I witnessed first hand New Years Day 1997.....holy moly that was epic....couldn’t get out of Reno for three days.....airport closed....I-80 closed....train station closed....massive truckee river flood....so either way....here - just BONED...SO HARD
At least you’ve got the Warriors and 49ers to ease your pain.

5" will be an outlier lolli.

The 0z NAM still pretty thumpy for MA/VT border. I'll stick with 3-4" from here to Hunchie to Pickles.

3-4" N of RT 2. LaLaLa lock it, although West may be best (Savoy to Mitch).

I know it’s a different world up here, but at jay, there is probably 3 feet
Well, yeah, different world.

I did a big loop through the valley today, outside of hill town elevations there is basically no snow S of Greenfield. RT 2 has been the Maginot Line of snow for the past 8 weeks.

I've got to ride the vibe of the winter and even go 3-4" here. HRRR and WRF did well here Monday so I'll watch those tonight too.

Nice to see this forum melting down. Usually it’s NYC
I’ve never seen it so bad in here.
I can’t pass judgment on anyone because I have over 40” of snow this year but the melts have been many.

Yup, hoping that the NW corner of MA is the last place in SNE the sleet line clears.
