We are mostly all natural at home with our products and foods but I have embraced using DEET once in a while. 
Not the weak sauce, DEET either, I’m talking Deep Woods Off.

 It’s equivalent to the northern lights of fireflies right now. I’ve never seen anything like it. 
There was either some anomalous population boom this year or one of their predators is underpopulated.

It used to drive me crazy when the older generations in my family would say “after the Fourth of July July summer is practically over”
