I can see some clearing to the NW but I'm not ready to call it done yet based on the radar.
Weather station tipper ftl. Just got home and my Stratus has 1.5" for the day!

It is brightening up in my neighborhood but friend reports ++RA in Deerfield.

I'm trying to figure out how it rained (poured) for so much longer here than there.
I think the initial burst hit you and scooted a little bit NE of Greenfield. You also might have had some lift enhanced precipitation off the hills that we did not initially get here.

It was torrential here for an hour, a few minutes of hiatus and now back into rain though much less heavy. Several close CG strikes to boot. Lights going out for a minute. Resetting clocks ftl.
Yeah, I had spoken too soon it let up for a few minutes but is hammering again.

Your areas have been the rain jackpot the past month. We've had our share of course but you are inches ahead.

a whole lot of meh' here earlier. .10" rain very little thunder or lightning. Glad to let others have the deluge.
-
Just had a wall shaking thunder clap from that cell that blew up just W of Greenfield.

What are all these runners running from?

Cracked 90F at 11am.
Oddly it's still only 85F here, even with full sun.

clouds delaying the launch but still sitting at 72F already.

No way. He barely did 90F when BDL was hitting 103F in 2011. lol
He is in an anomalous spot. I have friends in that area at higher elevation who get warmer than MPM. Something about the topography in his neighborhood keeps it cooler but driving around up there I haven't figured out quite what it could be. Maybe the way prevailing winds move throug that particular area of Shelburne? There are no nearby rivers to speak of and he is not really in a cold glen or hollow.

No report from Hippy in Greenfield, they got smoked with rain today
The brunt of it luckily split E and W of here. Only .50" total.
Raining now.
-
decent shower, .10" in about 20 minutes. Thankfully the brunt of it is sliding just E of here, all set on rain thanks. The thunder still has the dogs rattled though.
-
Looking NE towards cell that just missed Greenfield around 4:15pm.

EMA hasn’t regressed yet so maybe regression is fake news.
It only precipitates in the winter months there.
Come winter, I am sure Bob will put up Stowe type totals and Tauntblizz will b*tch his way to three blizzard warnings
