Radar is a bit shredded so let’s see where this goes.
I had moderate sleet coming down but I just flipped to light rain and radar is a bit shredded. -

Yep. Roads here are bad. Supposedly bad in Leominster which is a bit surprising
Sleet takes no prisoners.

I’ll confirm roads are terrible but we have had zero wind here in G’field.

At least that’s exciting.
I’ve got moderate rain mixed with sleet and zero wind. Yay, April.

Damn, North Adams just ripping winds.
Multiple 50kt+ gusts. They are sustained 40mph, gusting 67mph.

Wow, just light breezes in Greenfield.

Bright cloud deck with fast moving E to W clouds and just mist falling. Textbook Valley shadowing.

My gut still says crud but there's definitely an avenue to warning snow if everything breaks right and it pounds 1-2'' an hour from midnight to 6 am. Hate the H7 low in NY State though - to me that screams showery banded radar and that ain't going to cut it.
Crud.
Cut to 10pm when the radar is shredded. -

Car thermometer:
Nashua: 39 rain
Manchester: 37 rain maybe a few something else
This whole thing is going to end up a sea of suck for many.
Believe me, I am all for paint peeling accumulating sleet tonight but I’m just not sure we get there. -

I’m not really feeling the puzzle pieces coming together for anybody south of Concord.

Might be some 2-3” sleet totals along RT 2 and a bit north. That’s high impact as far as travel is concerned. That would cancel school here on Thursday for sure.

Parts of Wisconsin look like they are hammering snow on radar,

Could also be a storm that drops a half foot on us, the margins are slim I'll give em that
Less embarrassing if they have to correct up closer to go time than correct down.

Yeah BOX has been very conservative with amounts, and I don't see their expected snowfall lining up, 1.6 for my area? Wonder if they know something we don't because that doesn't make sense to me, even with the risk of it trending north last minute
I think they’re just being realistic. There’s still plenty of time for this to turn into a sleet storm all the way up to Concord.
