18z Euro positive snow depth increase is best next to you up into higher terrain of S.Greens and Monadnocks.

Greenfield might be far enough up and in that even without much elevation we get a solid WAA thump.    Even 3-4” over to rain would be significant impact.

Last spring I visited Sugarloaf mid April and they had groomed everything. I was incredibly disappointed as I love bumps. I actually left a day early and went to killington on the way back and they had plenty of mogul runs!  Does anyone know of this is a common issue?  I was at sugarloaf in years past during Spring and I remember them having some natural terrain with moguls.  I asked the resort and got a very non answer like “we focus on safety and please check out conditions page for trail info”.  planning a trip in 2 weeks and just don’t want to drive 10 hours and have the same thing happen. Sugarloaf is a better mountain but if they are going to groom the whole thing into a boring flat surface again I’ll go to Vermont!

I spring skied there at least once almost every April  from 97-2005 and there were plenty of bumps and plenty of groomers.

I’d sign on the dotted line now if I could.
I always get worried about elevation this time of year plus possible poor rates on an easterly fetch.
The more latitude the better so you’re in a little better shape than I am.   Let’s hope this works out as a treat to end a rough snow  season.

Brattleboro is essentially Greenfield, MA like Hippy said.  Literally the same exact climate in the CT Valley there at the MA/VT/NH borders.

Maybe even worse than Greenfield because it has slightly higher terrain east and west.  Monadnocks on one side and the S. Greens on the other.

Correct, Brattleboro sits in between some big hills so they definitely get shadowed.
I think Bennington, Keene and N Adams are even worse though.
I’ll have to go back and check but I believe Greenfield 50 year average is 58” a season, so slightly more than Bratt.
