  1. I would be ecstatic with 2-4”, just need to cover the bare spots on the sledding hills and freshen up the glaze on the cross country ski trails. #simpleman
  2. In some cases I’m sure that’s happening but probably not on a large scale.
  3. Mid-levels say we still grab 2-4" back in NW MA. I'll take.
  4. Cryptocurrencies are quivering for a decent break downward or an epic break upward. By cryptocurrencies I mean the solid players not the shitcoins. Blockchain is here to stay.
  5. Yeah except we don't have that option. I hear you though, either snow or mild up but if we deal with 6 more weeks of wintery temps and no significant snow I will join the meltdown crowd. I am not convinced on any rapid flip to spring either so please let's snow.
  6. Being too hot in a heat wave brings misery and can potentially be fatal. Being too cold in the winter brings desperation because you know it will be fatal if not remedied.
  7. I hate to even say this but I can imagine there will be more than a few deaths from Carbon Monoxide poisoning from those seeking alternative heat sources.
  8. Lol, it was the only model trying to stay cold with this past storm. Hopefully wrong this time too.
  9. I don’t think any models or meteorologists had this starting as sleet all the way up into an NNE.
  10. 32. Tree branches sagging but nothing to dramatic. Storm is moving quickly, precipitation should be over soon.
  11. That some solid DD! Thank you! I'm just an arcade player but it's fun to listen to folks, who have studied the individual games, more than I have.
  12. Are you getting precip right now? Been dry here since 9pm
  13. Mesos seem to have most of SNE and parts of CNE above freezing by then. Most meaningful precipitation out by then? Franklin to N ORH Co definitely look to hold the the 2m at sub-freezing until 8z-10z on most meso models.
  14. This storm is moving quick, so wintery impacts in NE are going to be on the manageable side. Definitely some icing but I don't see anybody in SNE/CNE getting more than .25" accretion. 26/23 here, DP has actually dropped a degree past hour. Perhaps qpf may come in on the low side of modeling in SNE? A low qpf, dry slotted, flash torch in CT would be contrary to what some were anticipating.
  15. I would say some, not mostly. You will be icy in the morning.
  16. 26/22 No precipitation the past hour or so. Had about .25" of snow earlier. FZRA looks manageable, maybe .20" here before surface temps warm to 33-34?
  17. Radar looks like it’ll be a few hours before any heavier precipitation moves in.
  18. Mostly snow now, of the baking powder variety.
  19. 27/24. -SN/PL. The sleet is just laughing at the salt they put on the roads.
  20. HRRR looked pretty cold at the surface N of the Pike through tomorrow morning.
  21. Temperatures dropping, some ice for everyone, wheeee!
