  1. Damn, the downpours just keep rebuilding over the I–91 corridor.
  2. Just got to Northampton, the drive down from Greenfield was brutal. Basically solid sheets of water falling from the sky. It’s odd because the radar does not look that impressive but it was absolutely torrential rain all the way.
  3. That sucks, I’m sorry to hear that. Perhaps as Tip said it might’ve been a safety kill feature. honestly, to me an eight year old car is not that old especially with only 125K on it. If the engine did seize, replacing the engine is certainly cheaper than buying a new car if the rest of it is in good shape.
  4. Almost 2.5” past 24hrs. Lots of isolated tropical downpours here.
  5. It's interesting because I cannot recall seeing any in New Hampshire either, yet I have seen hares at high elevation in the Bigelow Range in W Maine.
  6. Yeah, my yard looks like the casting call for Watership Down. They are dumb too, they will hang out inside the dogs fenced area.
  7. Our man Mitch! You just aren't used to the Western New England hair styles.
  8. Oh man, still 72/70 here. Had the windows open early this morning but had to put the AC right back on @ 10am.
  9. The great thing is you don't have to choose, you will likely have both!
  10. Campgrounds sold out, Cape Cod sold out. Cloudy and cool at least you can still stroll on the beach but pouring rain sucks.
  11. With the t-storms it is down to 76° at 1500’ in Heath, MA. It’s nice to have friends up in the hills.
  12. Hot but epic summer day once I finished my work duties. Drove the family up to a lake in the nearby Hilltowns at 1100 feet. temperatures up there were in the upper 80s but nice breeze off the water.
  13. Yeah, great cloud day here late afternoon. I’ll go through them and put up post worthy ones tomorrow.
  14. 93/74 at my house. Not a personal record but definitely super oppressive out. Walking the dog was pretty intense. Heading up to a lake in the hills now.
  15. I have not really seen any substantial evidence that the Delta variants are that worrisome. If there was free and accessible anti-body testing everywhere, I bet we would see stats indicating that we are in the herd immunity stage in much of the US.
  16. Yeah, 75/67 here right now. Tropical.
  17. That area is one of my favorite parts of the lower 48 states. I can’t wait to get my kid out there in the not too distant future.
  18. Yeah, rain forest type weekend might be incoming.
  19. How rare are tornadoes in Europe?
