  1. It certainly didn’t seem that impressive here but somehow I managed to nickel and dime my way to 9” for the month. That is probably close to average for Greenfield but I’m not sure.
  2. Ended up with a solid inch at my house. Just enough so that I had to shovel the driveway. All of the secondary roads in town are quite slippery because the town did zero treatment for this.
  3. You will come to learn that those trailing bursts get vaporized over the mountains to our west 9 out of 10 times. Should still give some nice mood flakes.
  4. About .75” in Greenfield. Radar says we almost done.
  5. Might be a coating at best for us. Radar looks meager.
  6. Jezuz, I’m up to 8” here and we usually tied. Need sone SWFE’s!
  7. Yeah, it was very spotty. When I was in Sunderland and Deerfield earlier today you could go a half mile from a half inch to barely a coating.
  8. You would think so but the heaviest echoes of the day are over my area now and barely anything is falling. Maybe the call needs to saturate more.
  9. OK, I didn’t realize. Greenfield is only had about 8” for the season. I forgot about that elevation storm they had a few weeks ago.
  10. This could be one of those storms that leaves Cape Cod and the Islands with higher season to date totals than the Berkshires.
  11. 29° and overcast in Greenfield. I’m not really planning on anything here, maybe a coating?
  12. Just give me an active January pattern and I’ll take my chances with temps.
  13. GFS is not that warm for the post Christmas "mild up". Pond skating is in the forecast.
  14. This storm will be tantalizingly close for Boston metro but probably a rug pull. Hope something happens since I will be staying in Cambridge over the weekend.
  15. Although I lived in Cambridge for Feb 78 and April 1st 1997, I still think my favorite was the 2 day January 2005 storm. Just epic in the Cambridge/Somerville area. I walked around Inman Square burying a yard stick in multiple locations. It snowed for at least 30 hours. We couldn't see the roofs of many cars with the drifting.
