  1. In case anybody cares, today is the anniversary of the Great Molasses Flood in Boston. It was definitely a weather related event. https://www.history.com/news/great-molasses-flood-science
  2. I’m going to watch for another day or so but it’s certainly possible this even ends up meh’ for the WoC crowd. (West of Canal)

  4. Their bodies literally produce antifreeze proteins. I was reading a study about how ticks may actually passing on these antifreeze proteins to field mice.

  10. Unlike many, I'll take a minor event over nothing at all. Even 1"-2" to make it at least look like January.
  11. It would be fun if they got 6 inches of snow followed by freezing rain and then a week of frigid temperatures.
  12. You as well as anybody here knows the volatility of the upcoming pattern. Probably no MECS the next few weeks but should be some snow for the interior Northeast.
  13. Models will come around to a snow event for the interior Sunday/Monday.

  19. Decent snow shower here. Roads coated up quickly. I wish we could get this type of snow growth in real storms.
  20. Advisory event for many. Going to need to wait for any big dogs.
  21. The pattern seems mildly interesting moving forward. I don't see any big dogs but SNE should see some smaller events the next 10 days.
  22. I’ve gone out and found some of the local ones. All sorts of remnants are evident in the woods of even the smallest areas.
  23. As a kid I remember skiing at Prospect Hill in Waltham and Boston Hills in Andover.
