  1. It was already a top 1 to 3 storm for some high terrain posters, a cold source would have maybe made it a top 1-3 all time SNE storm across the forum.
  2. East flow often screws us here but not always. It was painful watching downtown Greenfield, at low elevation get 2-3' more than me but I'm sure it was the big hills immediately to my N and W that did the downslope damage. Give me SWFE's please. lol
  3. Anyway, 5" was disappointing especially because it was a slow melt all day with temps around 34F. On the bright side I broke over 40" for the season.
  4. Not sure what positive depth change for here was but I think I would have done a little better than 5" if not for some weird terrain anomaly's around here.
  5. He’ll need to clear at some point. It will freeze tomorrow night.
  6. Yeah, Not sure what happened there? I know exactly where that is and no trees close to it and only 4 or 5 inches of snow fell.
  7. Heaviest snow of the day in this band. Be nice to tack on another inch or two for consolation.
  8. Exactly. It was clear for days this was an elevation event, despite what weenie goggles we wanted to throw on.
  9. I guess several Berkshire ski areas lost power and did not open.
  10. Your total so far? 5” here. It’s wet so I did not keep up with clearing and measuring.
  11. A friend of mine is out driving looking for photo ops and he said he’s seen 10 to 15 inch snow differentials across 3 or 4 mile distances. He said there is 15 inches of snow 4 miles from my house. I probably have 5” total for the day. Somebody on FB said in Shutesbury there is 2” on the southern end of town close to 20” inches in the north.
  12. I am not getting sucked into the Euro fantasy.
  13. Story of the storm for everybody. A few degrees cooler and @ineedsnowwould have snow half way up his house.
  14. Decent snow past 30 minutes. Getting clipped by those bands coming through the Monads. 4” total. 35/32
  15. MPM was 10 mi W of me in the hills of Shelburne. People loved to say he was on the E Slope of Berks but that wasn’t really true.
  16. Heath and parts of Charlemont were over 2’ at noon. Love to know what Savoy has.
  17. Even a marginal antecedent cold air mass might have given parts of ORH Co and the Berks possible 40" lolli's.
  18. Moderate snow here now but not really accumulating at 36°. this stuff is so damn wet I don’t think my snowblower is going to be able to move it. Depending on what we finish with, I may just let the driveway sit and melt over the week.
  19. There are very large differences over small distances out here. Nature of the storm. You should start catching up though.
  20. The CRV “Triangle of Disappointment”. That’s why I prefer SWFE snows.
  21. First pingers I’ve heard anybody mention with this system. Congrats.
