    I was hanging out at the Fresh Grass festival in North Adams last night, talking to a couple of the bartenders about weather and they all follow Mitch! I told them about the forum and the jokes about the buried bodies.

    I am planning on a cloudy weekend with intermittent showers up here in the NW corner of MA. Definitely not a washout by any means.

    Fascinating critters. They are actually non-aggressive and prefer not to spray unless necessary. Great pest control and fun to watch as long as you keep your pets away. Most mammals won't mess with them.

    NW is best for a drier outdoor fest. I’ll be working at the Fresh Grass music festival in North Adams so hopefully minimal rain. acoustic dropkick Murphys Saturday night!

    Maybe the Grinch storm will bring some strong winds and damage along with a tropical feel.

    Lee has pretty consistently had a Nova Scotia destiny for LF. It won’t be catastrophic but with that wind field, I would expect a lot of power issues in Atlantic Canada and parts of Maine.

    Pouring here in Greenfield. I believe I am now over 40 inches of rain since June 1.

    Go to the Cape dude, way more exciting. Sure, you might get some ok gusts in Tolland at your elevation but the Cape is the place to chase. I expect a mostly dry, breezy weekend in the CRV.

    Doubtful. It seems our precipitation extremes are warm season based. I've had over an average year's worth of precipitation since June 1st.

    The full left turn by Sandy was impressive but modeled and is an example of all the pieces coming together with the right timing.
