    325 right now. I’m guessing at that level moderate outdoor activity becomes asthma attack unsafe?

    Yeah, just a perfect set up, to get the heaviest smoke into the most populated area on the East Coast.

    Greenfield is right on the edge. We keep going from mostly blue sky to milky white.

    We had a thunderstorm come through Greenfield about 45 minutes ago and after it passed the smoke just settled in as thick as I’ve ever seen it. All of downtown smells like a barbecue pit.

    The smoke is crazy down in the valley right now. Can really smell it.

    I know sparks from freight trains is a common cause.

    Could smell the smoke in Greenfield this morning. Very hazy, like Kevin’s IPA’s.

    My kid and I helped this guy/gal across a busy road today. I was on my way back from the transfer station so luckily had the recycling bin. I generally also have a shovel in the back.

    I have not used AC yet. Windows and fans feel delightful tonight. I like fresh air.

    Seem to have topped out at 88° imby but downtown Greenfield was 91° on my car thermo, which is generally pretty accurate.

    Overnight low of 50° A little hot today but another stunning summer day on tap.

    I'm already down to 56F here. I have fans in three different windows. Living room is already down to 64F. I'll close the windows and the shades before we all leave for work and school in the morning. That should do the trick in a small, well insulated house. I really am trying to see how far I make it without AC this year.
