Wow man, sorry to hear that. Being displaced for that long is a bummer. Good luck with the new homestead. I was almost decapitated by the top of a telephone pole a few years ago and that’s when I gave up any wind fetishes.

The CT River watershed laughs at 2”-3” rain storms. Flooding issues will be minimal in the CTRV.

45° and overcast in Northampton. I’m pouring beer samples at an event that is going to have six wine and three whiskey reps also pouring. I’m going to need to pace myself.

I have to agree. SNE may be able to sneak in an event over the interior but curtains closed, wrt plowable snow, until after Christmas for many.

How will the shoals of Tolland fare?

I think SNE fun time is probably Christmas or just after through January. The next two weeks seem like a lot of thread the needle will be needed even for where I am in the deep interior.

Yeah, that would be a foot of snow for the high elevations from Stowe to Jay Peak. Low confidence still...

If you want an old school New England apres ski experience hit the Shannon Door in Jackson. Cozy and festive with a comfort food menu and decent beer selection. Moat Brewery is fun too. You want to get to both of those places before 5 PM though…

The early December pattern is not ideal but W of I-495 has a decent shot at shovel snow the next 10 days. Grinch be damned, I like Christmas week and end of month for snow in much of SNE, right to the coast.

Nothing in Greenfield but there’s a coating of snow on the ground down in Deerfield so they must’ve gotten snow showers overnight or this morning.

You probably had more because I was 3.5”at 11:30 PM last night. It started to sleet shortly after that.

Still wedged in the 30s here so it looks like it will be a white Thanksgiving in Greenfield. I’d prefer a white Christmas.

Transitioning to snow/sleet mix now. Close to 4" here.

it is still just dumping fat flakes here. I imagine some of the higher elevations around me must be closing in on 5” I have 4” on the grass and 3.5” on the cars. That is with compaction.

It's rare for Greenfield to be one of the last places still snowing in SNE. I'll take SWFE over most other storms for my location. This was definitely a fun start to the snow season.

Really came down the past hour. Close to 3" on the car and picnic table. 2" on the road. I quick shoveled my 100' driveway. Too late for snow blowing (plus needs oil change) and I wasn't taking a chance on "it will all be washed away".
