  1. There are ways it can work. Let’s see how it looks next week.
  2. This thread is approaching unreadable. The pattern looks better for much of interior NE. Patience.
  3. Wasn't initial funding from DoD?
  4. Those NE totals are epic. I wouldn't care what happened Feb/March if that verified.
  5. Maybe just easier to turn it into a long ass halfpipe for the season?
  6. Except New England, where we will inevitably find an anomalous cold pool, to keep things in check.
  7. My wife doesn't pay a lot of attention to weather stuff but she has been saying that for several years.
  8. You have to figure there are trail compromises that won’t make themselves immediately shown. edit: I am not at all trying to be negative, just cautious. I already live with ski injuries so, I take safety first.
  9. At least there won’t be snow to wash away. Anyway, it could be a thread the needle snow chance for the interior.
  10. Maybe Jackson’s Touring Center can offer cross country water skiing?
  11. 27 being close not only sucks for Sugarloaf but that’s a fairly important trucking route out of Canada to Maine.
  12. Beyond grinch with some of the destruction from flooding. I’m sure we will see a lot more reports and pictures tomorrow of damage from the north country.
  13. Wow, people on Reddit saying power restoration estimates in E MA are 2-3 days!
  14. Greenfield is already over 70” for the year. This will probably bring us close to 73” That’s basically two years worth of rain in one year.
  15. I don’t think Greenfield has had a gust over 25mph. Outside of severe, the upper valley is where wind goes to die. Absolutely torrential rain the past two hours though. At noon I’m going to take a drive to check some of the streams and rivers.
  16. The stream flooding around here is much worse than last week. Everything I’ve driven by today is already over its banks with moderate to heavy rain still falling.
  17. Wow, 61° here. As usual, winds are insignificant in the vallley but over 2” of rain.
