  1. Strange, we have the coldest air this winter about to descend on us and you say winter is over. You can't see past 2 weeks with any level of certainty, and you are already saying that Feb and Mar are toast??? Come on man, you are just frustrated because we missed an opportunity.
  2. Haven't seen him in over a year. However, according to his profile he still lurks. Last time he logged on was on 1/9.
  3. No, the ski industry needs to have cold weather to survive. Do not wish them misfortune because you want warmth..... that's kind-of selfish.
  4. Dang ..... 12 degrees this morning.
  5. 25 here already.... wasn't expecting it to drop that fast. Low to mid-teens is a given.
  6. Yep, my dad was born and raised in Casar. Spent my early childhood there.
  7. 42 degrees here with thickening clouds.... forecast low is 31. Don't think we will get there, unless the clouds thin out.
  8. Sitting at a bone-chilling 47 degrees .... If you look at those radar returns, and you did not have any models to looks at, you would swear that it was heading our way. Weather systems just don't move like they used to.
  9. Wish we could get Robert @FoothillsNC back I miss those days.
  10. Glad we have a home now....... We are not the Triangle/Raleigh area and we are not the Mountains. We were caught in between.
  11. Yep, just like our last threat. Nam shifted south at the last minute. This is a clear bias in the medium range to over amp systems.
  12. We do not live 30 miles from the triangle.....you are in the wrong thread.
  13. Blue_Ridge_ Escarpment is on the other board.... Don't know about SnoJoe, haven't seen him in forever.
  14. That's a heavy rainfall risk map..... not a severe thunderstorm map.
  15. I also came from the old Eastern forum. We had some good times back then......
  16. Piedmont of NC has been Nam'ed again.... Lot of folks going to be upset if this fails.
  17. Had a low this morning of 23 degrees and a mega frost.
  18. You should be happy that we are building a deep snowpack to our north. You know we have to get their snow in place first. That way we can have a winter storm here. At least, that's what I heard.... lol
  19. The mountains always have the best chance of scoring. Just relax and don't get caught up in the model run to run changes.
