Possible coastal storm centered on Feb 1 2026.

Please pardon my ignorance in advance.... my only real model knowledge is what I've read on this forum in the last 14 years. In your post are you referring to the low being off of Myrtle Beach, SC on the NAM vs Morehead City, NC on the Euro? I was playing with Pivotal and am wondering if this is what you are referring to. (~130 miles west longitudinally) -
I'm really liking NH/ME border up to Brunswick over to Dryslot with these north ticks.
-
Agreed. Everything previous to the NAM was busting above 12. We'll see what the next runs show.
-
18.5 huh? I was leaning 12-16. I guess they are bullish.

Looks to me like 1", maybe 2" of fluff here on the coast of ME

Heat pumps aren't gonna keep up with the upcoming cold that's for sure. I am definitely not an expert in any way, but I've watched these types of storms over the past 14 years tickle their way up the coast. It will be a little harder for you being inland, but I could see the coast's numbers start to tickle up over the next few days. 1-3; 3-6; 4-8... -
Power just back on.

Sugerloaf Friday, Monday, Tuesday. What a difference in skiing. Friday was good but windy. Monday and Tuesday, slow, slush, bare spots. Not good.

I think Portland got 0.5" Freeport maybe 0.6543" So, nope. -
Unofficially, 49" at Sugarloaf in the month of January. 61" total for the winter. Pretty good conditions right now. https://www.onthesnow.com/maine/sugarloaf/historical-snowfall

This ^ If it's really that important to you George, move. Move up to NNE, northern VT, Buffalo..... I suspect you'll be a much happier person in the end.
-
Nice to see the mountains will keep their snow. Heading to Sugarloaf this weekend. We went over the holidays and didn't ski because the conditions were so bad.
-
Seriously, that's why we flip you Massholes off on the Turnpike. Take it down a notch.
-
See bolded above. Just starting to slowly change over to -SN in Freeport, ME - 3mi from the coast

The last hurrah? Putting all the eggs in the Tuesday 3/14 basket

Almost like clockwork with these. It's starts to tickle north each run, then a late capture..... and distance cries can be heard from the south -
Profile photo checks out.

Quick George, make a thread.
