  1. ..far too many kids are treated like fragile glass. Just talk to hs football coaches, they will all tell you that once the "cold" hits in October kids begin to quit....parents complain about there not being an indoor practice facility....we both know that SNE becomes the Yukon in October... a player could freeze to death running around a football field....
  2. I spent my first 12 years of school in old unairconditioned buildings....somehow everyone survived...hell the heat barely worked at times during the winter....windows leaked...roofs leaked...people were use to "hardships" back then..now people are soft for the most part.
  3. I'm surprised The Weather Channel doesn't have Jim Cantore reporting live from SNE.....
  4. Greatest late August TORCH of all time....
  5. Unless specifically stated in the policy it does not cover flood damage. Usually umbrella insurance covers injury or property damage that you cause to others. In general it is liability insurance.

It is well known that homeowners insurance generally doesn't cover flood damage. Many agents will suggest adding flood insurance just in case of a natural disaster. Natural disaster insurance can also be purchased. I highly recommend that every homeowner meets with their insurance agent prior to renewing a policy. Many homeowners are underinsured but they do not know it. Always take the time to read the entire policy including the fine print. If you do not understand something then consult with a lawyer.
  7. Hey you're right!!...we all know how rare it is to have upper 80's in late August and early September. I have no idea why people are debating this with you....
  8. Are you sitting on top of Mt Everest???....You are going to talk yourself into being old long before you are actually old lol
  9. C'mon do not tell me you are cold. My neighbors across the street are in their 80's and they are wearing shorts...
  10. Thank you..sorry for your loss as well...
  11. I'm outside every day....I average a little over 21,000 steps per day and that is in addition to doing weights..and ..and btw my parents are both deceased...
  12. Same here....summer is nothing more than a 3 month festival of boredom...
  13. Just don't be complaining if the warmth/heat last well into fall and winter...

  16. Perhaps Noel Gallagher of Oasis may also be in attendance...
  17. It feels great...people are actually outside doing things!
  18. There is downside risk to getting out of bed in the morning....of course there is always going to be downside risk but it is next to impossible to invest in the stock market without accepting the risk(s) of losing money.....sure people can invest in funds with very low return rates BUT they will often miss out on larger gains because of the fear of losing money. Those people are best suited to put money into CD's. Being too conservative can be just as bad as being too aggressive.
