    At the time I owned a Toyota Corolla- BTW the worse finacial decision I have ever made...that car was awful in the snow. It actually got stuck in the snow several times going DOWNHILL!... The Toyota got totalled in Haverhill by a driver who ran a stop sign....I got out of the car and I shook the guy's hand while thanking him!! Lol

    Never had a late start to the school day in my entire 16 years in school...

    ...many schools were closed Tuesday- Friday but many schools had school on Monday the 6th...some early dismissal but I did know people who had a full school day on the 6th

    Back in the day school was never canceled for an "event" like this one...lol At the time of the Blzzard of 78 I was in college...they let us go "early"....at around 230 lol..

    They make a boatload of money from "side" events such as tours, concerts, football, soccer, and numerous other events. I once attended a focus group at Fenway. The focus group was held in one of the boxes. I am sure it wasn't cheap to rent the box.

    Same here in the Merrimack Valley area. Numerous people have gotten out of the snowplowing business because of it.
