    It's very rare any places see 100 around here often. We tied the record high here today at 97 so i'm assuming a lot of other places beat theirs by a few degrees

    I'm surprised there's been zero derechos this year. Normally there's one in at least some part of the country by the time June is finished. Every year the past decade except for 2019 there's been one or more by this time lol. That's good though because derechos are not fun...almost forgot about the Iowa one last year and how everyone living there basically got forgotten for 2 weeks after it happened

    Literally the past 3 days there have been storms that appeared directly west of harrisburg but they eventually disappeared and didn't move far enough to get directly over harrisburg afik. I was actually wondering if the same thing'll happen again today

    It's not even 11 am yet and it's already 90 degrees right now with a dew point of 71...geez

    Yeah this entire month has been interesting. We'll get multiple days in the low-mid 90's and then get multiple days with really nice low temps in the low 50s and then back to heat again. It's definitely made me think this month hasn't been as hot as its been despite it being really hot lol

    94 here currently...says it feels like 101. Next 2 days are gonna be even worse than that

    Yeah I noticed it was 76 here too near 6 am and I had to put my windows down the entire drive because it was just too uncomfortable otherwise

    That heat in the pacific northwest is absolutely blowing my mind. Portland Oregon is 107 today which breaks the record of 101 in 2006...then monday is 115 degrees. Even the temperature of 97 on tuesday gets close to breaking their record high. The 114 and 115 degree days will blast any temperature on any day in recorded history.

    It's 78 degrees with a dew point of 71 at 2:30 am...I can't imagine anyone without ac sleeping pleasantly tonight

    This feels like one of the worst days of the year so far lol...92 here and it feels like 97 There's a small chance of thunderstorms today too...I doubt most places see anything but I have seen a few pop up storms across the state so far today

    One of my friends had to make sure one of their tiny dogs didn't get taken from giant birds. I was gonna say one of them actually did get taken but I feel like I'm misremembering so I don't want to put false info out there lol I just know something really bizarre happened to one of them and they have no idea what happened to it

    I was saying to someone how it's barely thunderstormed all month...what's funny is I was thinking how we were gonna pay somehow for the record rainfall in 2018-2019.

    same over here. also got a lot cooler too also next week looks like we get multiple days that might approach 90 or more...probably gonna have to put the ac's in despite how much i dont want to yet. i prefer just having fresh air come in with the house fan on instead of being cooped up inside with the ac lol

    I hope this year isn't dry. The lack of thunderstorms was depressing last year. After may we had barely anything. I remember reading last year was the least amount of lightning ever recorded in the US in history

    You know what I hate? I hate it when you get a cold snap for 1-2 weeks and then you only get a few days of more average weather until you're hit with extreme heat. Those temps are looking godawful next week Well the past week or two hasn't been a cold snap but definitely 5-10 degrees below average. And then boom we go 10-18 above average with no inbetween
