    canada is so much warmer at this time of year relatively speaking of course then even last year..at this time..

    the city will bust and not get to where the nws had predicted for rainfall totals.

    even lee goldberg showed radar which might indicate by morning the heaviest band will be just to the east of the city if that is the case any will be unhappy by rainfall amounts we shall see when it is all said and done..

    future cast does not look as impressive for the city as it did at 6:00 pm it should have been pouring in the city by midnight is it will not be maybe 2 to 3 hours later so right away you take a inch of rain off the table..

    we missed out on a inch already as storms passed to the west of the city..

    nick gregory future cast only showed 2 inches of rain in the city from this storm.

    if this was january we be screaming as the snow would be changing to rain in the city.

    latest rainfall future cast amounts by the local mets seem to be heaviest from the city now west rather then east.

    it was also the same forecast at 6:00pm

    news 4 ny still has 1-2 inches on their maps for nyc hmm..

    i have noticed most of the local mets use the gfs for precip amounts not the euro..

    might have to wait till november or december for sustained fall weather..

    remember the 1996 blizzard when it started snowing when temps were around 13 or 14 degrees.. some winters lately we barely even get to that temp for the coldest low of the entire winter in nyc

    i dont want going forward muggy humid octobers.. i prefer chilli so you prefer unbearable summer heat and humidity going forward as we are having recently?

    we had cold winters in the mid 1980;s into the early 90;s as well.

    winters will never be as cold as they were back in the 1970's and 1980's in this area unless something huge happens like a massive volcanic eruption something like that... that climate change for you..'
