  1. WPAC typhoons will likely lead to downstream wave breaking and cooler weather near mid month

  3. A couple neat records to keep track of, Madison has broken its record of consecutive days with high temps 65 or above with 140 currently and no end in sight. The old record was 135 set in 2021. We will also set our record of consecutive max temps at 60 or above this weekend.
  4. It’s going to be hot here this week. Looking a hair under record territory
  5. Down to 41 this morning. After tonight looking like above average temps for the foreseeable future
  6. A cool airmass will push into the northern half of the area this weekend. Looking like a few more chances of cool NW flow heading into the weekend after Labor Day. Before we know it we’ll be tracking some rainy and windy fall storms
  7. record warm low of 75 yesterday. this morning the low was 78 but storms have a good chance of knocking it below that this evening

  18. Yeah I live in Waunakee now so we’ve been closer to the highest totals. 2.63” for the event now
  19. Second round of storms has come through and we’re up to 1.97”. Flooding in most neighbors backyards.
  20. Heavy rain event starting off with a bang here. A few popup storms formed overhead and dropped 1.15”. Should get a couple more rounds as the evening goes by
  21. Extremely heavy rain with the line that just moved through. 0.78” so far today. 80 degree dews coming to a neighborhood near you this summer
