Looks like sea breeze front setting up as I'm under blue sky and just to my North is dark. No rain here, at least not yet.

After such a mild winter, I would not be surprised to see a normal or cooler than normal summer. Weather usually averages out at some point.

Yes I have noticed when we have a marine onshore flow and miss storms, there are storms out over the ocean in many cases.

I have hit 80 degrees or higher only 15 times this year. Zero 90 degree days, high for the year 86.

Second year in a row here with a very dry condition at this time of year. Temps have been pleasant, no real hot weather and cool at night. Currently 77 degrees.

As far as thunderstorms, at least on Long Island, peak season would be July-September.
